Unity March, Rally Planned In Lisle June 20

LISLE, IL — A unity march and rally are planned for June 20 in Lisle, according to the Lisle Police Department. The march and rally will be attended by members of DuPage AME Church, Lisle village officials, police officers and other residents.

The march will kick off at 9:30 a.m. at 4300 Yackley Ave. and make its way south to Ogden Avenue. From Ogden, the march will head east to Center Avenue before making its way south on Center Avenue to Lisle Village Hall at 925 Burlington Ave. The rally will then be held outside village hall.

Drivers are urged to delay non-essential trips in the area or to avoid the area and seek alternate routes during the march and subsequent rally.
