Woman Charged With Driving While On Drugs: Lisle Police

Helen Tan was arrested just after 3 a.m. on Feb. 24 after police observed her allegedly speeding and driving under the influence of drugs.

An officer stopped the 33-year-old Morton Grove woman near the intersection of Maple Avenue and Route 53.

Tan was released pending her court date. DuPage County Court records show that she was charged in 2013 with driving without insurance and disobeying a traffic signal in Bloomingdale.

A charge is only an accusation of a crime, not a finding of guilt.
