MANHATTAN, IL — The First Bank of Manhattan is once again sponsoring its Angel Tree program for local Manhattan families.
With the support of local organizations, businesses as well as community members, bank employees are hoping to offer assistance to Manhattan families who may need a bit of extra cheer this holiday season.
The Angel Tree is at the First Bank of Manhattan, which is at 230 S. State St., from Dec. 9 through Dec. 18.

The bank is asking the community to help with this holiday cause by picking up a tag at the facility that describes a child's needs and/or wants, then purchase a gift and return the wrapped gift with the tag attached to the bank by next Friday.
The gifts will be distributed to the families during the week before Christmas.
