Boil Order Issued In Manhattan Due To Water Main Break
The Village of Manhattan issued the order for the following area Wednesday afternoon due to a water main break on Julianne Drive.
MANHATTAN, IL — A boil order is in effect for the houses on Julianne Drive and Julianne Court between Brynn Drive and First Street in Manhattan. The Village of Manhattan issued the order Wednesday afternoon following a water main break on Julianne Drive, and said the water main break is affecting homes between Brynn Drive and First Street.
Public works crew members responded to the water main break, and the water was turned back on less than two hours later for homes on Julianne Drive and Julianne Court. However, the village asks that residents in this area continue to follow the boil order when using water.
