Boil Order Lifted In Manhattan After Wednesday Water Main Break
The boil order was issued Wednesday afternoon for Julianne Drive and Julianne Court between Brynn Drive and First Street in Manhattan.
MANHATTAN, IL — The Village of Manhattan announced the boil order issued for houses on Julianne Drive and Julianne Court Wednesday has been lifted. The boil order was in place for through Thursday afternoon.
In a statement posted to social media, the village apologized for the inconvenience this caused residents.
The Village of Manhattan issued the order Wednesday afternoon following a water main break on Julianne Drive, affecting homes between Brynn Drive and First Street.

Public works crew members responded to the water main break, and the water was turned back on less than two hours later for homes on Julianne Drive and Julianne Court. However, the village asked that residents in this area continued following the boil order while using water.
