Cooling Center Open In Manhattan

According to the Will County Emergency Agency, there is one cooling center in Manhattan.

MANHATTAN, IL — Cooling centers are opening up for residents who may be in need during hot summer days. According to the Will County Emergency Agency, there is one cooling center in Manhattan.

The cooling center in Manhattan is located at Manhattan Village Hall community meeting room, 260 Market Place. According to the Will County Emergency Agency website, cooling center hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, the agency advises community members to call 815-478-3483 before going to ensure the site is operating as a cooling center at that time.
