Devon Williams of Lincoln-Way East is Week Two Player of the Week
Williams carried 19 times for 288 yards during game
The week two recipient of the Kevin Molloy State Farm, WJOL Pigskin Preview is Devon Williams from Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort. On September 6th, Williams carried 19 times for 288 yards and three touchdowns against state powerhouse Naperville Central. Two weeks into the season Williams has already scored six touchdowns. State Farm Agent Kevin Molloy presented the award to Williams and his coach Ron Zvonar during practice with Pigskin Preview host Joe Rodeghero and Edgy Tim.
This is year three of Molloy and WJOL partnering with Pigskin Preview to champion this award which will culminate with a banquet sponsored by Frank Gatto, the owner of Gatto’s in New Lenox on December 8th from 1:00-3:30. Molloy stated that this effort could never gotten off the ground without co-sponsors of the Pigskin Preview John Wright along with Bill Garrigan of Fully Promoted in New Lenox and Dave Dombrowski the owner of Pizza Mia in New Lenox.
