Manhattan Police ID Man Killed In Crash, Seek Info From Witnesses
A 49-year-old New Lenox man was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck early Tuesday.

MANHATTAN, IL — A 49-year-old New Lenox man killed early Tuesday in a crash at the intersection of Cedar Road and Baker Road has been identified by Manhattan police as James E. Harbin.
Manhattan police said officers responded to the crash at 5:54 a.m. to find that Harbin's pickup had collided with a semi-truck with trailer driven by a 55-year-old Manhattan man. The semi driver was not injured and was released pending further investigation, according to police.
Harbin was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:30 a.m., according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

Manhattan police said officers responded to the crash, along with the Will County Sheriff's Major Accident Investigation Team. The intersection of Cedar and Baker was closed in all directions until around noon, according to police.
Manhattan police are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash. Anyone who may have information is asked to contact Det. Mike Holford at (815) 478-4408.
