On Saturday, Oct.22, 2016, the Manhattan Township Historical Society is hosting an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the society's museum located at 255 S. State Street in Manhattan. Celebrate anniversaries of Manhattan's 130 years, the historical society's 30 years, and the Museum’s second year.
Did you know that Manhattan once had more than one movie theater and a dance hall? Do you know where the Tile Factory was located? The free exhibit will feature highlights from each decade of Manhattan’s history since its incorporation in 1886.
