The Kevin Molloy State Farm, WJOL Pigskin Preview Player of the Week award for Week Seven is senior running back Keith Bronson from Plainfield South High School. Bronson rushed for 196 yards on 33 carries while scoring three touchdowns for the Cougars in their 33-20 win over Plainfield East on Friday night. This brings the Cougars record to 4-3 and just one-win shy of qualifying for the playoffs.
Bronson and his parents along with Coach Bicker will join Kevin Molloy, Hall of Fame Coach Joe Roderghero, football recruiting guru Edgy Tim, and WJOL’s Scott Slocum at the Players Award Banquet sponsored by Frank Gatto at Gatto’s Restaurant in New Lenox on December 8, 2019. Bill Garrigan of Fully Promoted in New Lenox, the sponsor of the trophies will be on hand to assist in distributing the awards which include Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Coach of the Year.
