Labor Day Fireworks Planned In Manhattan
The village suggested Central Park as a good place to watch the fireworks, but asks that everyone keep social distancing guidelines in mind.
MANHATTAN, IL — The Village of Manhattan announced Monday details for a Labor Day Fireworks event happening Sunday. According to the village, the fireworks will begin at 8 p.m. and will go off at the Metra station parking lot. While the Metra lot will be closed to the public, the village suggested Central Park as a good place to watch the fireworks, but asks that everyone keep social distancing guidelines in mind when finding a viewing spot.
"We recommend finding a great parking spot or view from your yard!" the village said Monday.
The village added that Sunday's show will be a "no ground show," so everyone can enjoy the fireworks in the sky.
