Join the Joliet Area Historical Museum's Free Virtual History Series as we present Legends, Lore & Facts of Will County's Civil War on Thursday, April 22nd at 6pm.

Join us, as Civil War historian, Bob Kuzma takes us back to Will County during the Civil War period. Bob will use a combination of narrative and visuals to bring you back to Will County during one of the most tumultuous times in our country's history. Find out; Is there a Civil War era photo of Bluff Street? Where was Joliet's Civil War camp? Amazing story of Civil War heroes Bartleson, McAllister, Bowen and others - And much more!

Mr. Kuzma is a lifelong student of the Civil War with a keen interest in local units. He has a BA in history from the University of Illinois and a law degree from the John Marshall Law School. Mr. Kuzma has taught Civil War and Reconstruction History at the college level, and wrote an article on the 100th Illinois Infantry for the Journal of the Illinois State Historical Society.
