Lincoln-Way Students Return From Canada Trip

Students traveled to Quetico Provincial Park in Ontario for a 7-day adventure canoeing and back country trip.

MANHATTAN, IL — Students from Lincoln-Way Central, East and West recently returned from a camping and canoeing trip in Ontario, Canada. The district said the students traveled to Quetico Provincial Park in Ontario for a 7-day adventure canoeing and back country trip.

The district said students were challenged to paddle through storms, wind and sunshine, carry 70 pound canoes over rugged terrain, face mosquitoes and biting flies, set up their own camps and prepare their own meals.
