Lincoln-Way West Gymnast Places At State Finals
Lincoln-Way West senior Korina Jarosz placed third in the uneven parallel bars and placed fifth in the final all-around standings.
NEW LENOX, IL — A Lincoln-Way gymnast had a successful weekend at the IHSA girls gymnastics state final tournament Feb. 21-22. Lincoln-Way West senior Korina Jarosz placed third in the uneven parallel bars and placed fifth in the final all-around standings.
According to the IHSA website, Jarosz had an average score of 9.4500 for her uneven bars routine. Clare Keane of Carmel and Nicole Kane of Rolling Meadows took the first two places in uneven bars. In the all-around standings, Jarosz had a score of 37.3250.
Junior Grace Kmak also placed in the top 34 in the all-around standings. Kmak finished 27th with a score of 35.8750.

The top team at the state tournament was Prairie Ridge in Crystal Lake.
The team roster for Lincoln-Way includes: Korina Jarosz, Allie Reis, Grace Kmak, Sarah Rosinski, Lucy Haas, Lexi Wikert, Skylar Kozcor, Olivia Gonda, Emerson Colins, Natalie Hrkel, Juliana Arciszewski, Jenna Krystyniak and Kyla Jedlowski.
