Lost And Found Pets Of Will County: Week Of Aug. 26
Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or found in Will County.
WILL COUNTY, IL — A lost dog or cat can be a pet owner's worst nightmare. Families often cover towns in 'lost pet' flyers and reach out on social media for help. The Will County Animal Control is one resource in Will County that shares lost and found animals on its Facebook page.
For those who may be searching for a pet, or if you have seen a lost animal and are trying to report it, Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or found, including some found by Will County Animal Control.
New Lenox

- Zena the cat has been missing from New Lenox since July 24. She was last seen on Joliet Highway and Lake Road.
Plainfield
- UPDATE: Milo has been FOUND! Milo the cat has been missing from Plainfield since Aug. 22. He is a grey, tan and black tabby, and was last seen near Theodore and Legacy Pointe.
- Puppy the cat went missing from Plainfield on Aug. 19. The female grey and white cat was last seen at Renwick and Route 59.
- A male cat was found in Plainfield on Aug. 27. He has no microchip.
Shorewood

- A male tabby cat was found in Shorewood on Aug. 23. He does not have a microchip.
Monee
- A male Pomeranian was found in Monee Township on Aug. 26. He does not have a microchip.
For more information, call Will County Animal Control at (815) 462-5633. The organization does not have the ability to keep strays for long, and will give the dog over to an adoption facility.
