Lost And Found Pets Of Will County: Week of Nov. 11

Patch has compiled a list of recently lost and found pets from around Will County.

WILL COUNTY, IL — A lost dog or cat can be a pet owner's worst nightmare. Families often cover towns in 'lost pet' flyers and reach out on social media for help.

For those who may be searching for a pet, or if you have seen a lost animal and are trying to report it, Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or found, including some found by Will County Animal Control, or listed on Lost Cats Illinois or Lost Dogs Illinois.

Crete

  • A stray male Pit Bull was found in Crete Nov. 9. He has no microchip.

Lockport

  • A stray senior Shih Tzu was found in Lockport Township Nov. 6. She has no microchip.

Mokena

  • A stray male orange tabby cat was found in Mokena No.v 10. He has no microchip.

Monee

  • Nova the cat has been missing from Monee since Nov. 1. She is friendly, but may be scared.

New Lenox

  • A male stray cat was found in New Lenox Nov. 6. He has no microchip.

Wilmington

  • A male Shepherd mix was found in Wilmington Nov. 8. He has no microchip.

Reunited

  • Jackson the Labrador Retriever was reunited with his family in Plainfield. He was missing for three days and was found about a mile away Nov. 10.

For more information on pets found by Will County Animal Control, call them at (815) 462-5633. The organization does not have the ability to keep strays for long, and will give the dog over to an adoption facility.
