Lost And Found Pets Of Will County: Week of Sept. 30

Patch has compiled a list of recently lost and found pets from around Will County.

WILL COUNTY, IL — A lost dog or cat can be a pet owner's worst nightmare. Families often cover towns in 'lost pet' flyers and reach out on social media for help.

For those who may be searching for a pet, or if you have seen a lost animal and are trying to report it, Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or found, including some found by Will County Animal Control, or listed on Lost Cats Illinois or Lost Dogs Illinois.

  • Dexter the cat has been missing since Sept. 25. He was last seen on Hartford Lane near Lindsey Lane. Dexter is grey/silver with blue eyes; he has white "socks" on his paws and all grey tail. No collar but he is chipped, and is very friendly and vocal. Text or call 630-405-4431 for any sightings.

Crete

  • Ding the cat has been missing from Crete since Sept. 24. He was last seen near Old Exchange Street. Owners are willing to give a $250 reward.

Joliet

  • Macy the Chihuahua has been missing from Joliet since Sept. 27. She may be slightly deaf and blind due to her age, and she is shy and fearful.

Lockport

  • Ivy the dog has been missing from Lockport since Sept. 13. She was last seen near 159th and Cedar Road.

Manhattan

  • KitKat the cat has been missing from Manhattan since Sept. 26. She was last seen on Route 52, and is only 10 months old.

Monee

  • Romeo the cat has been missing from Monee since Sept. 18. He was last seen near Pauling Road and 88th Avenue.

For more information on pets found by Will County Animal Control, call them at (815) 462-5633. The organization does not have the ability to keep strays for long, and will give the dog over to an adoption facility.
