The Lincoln-Way Marching Band will serve as the Grand Marshal of Monday's Manhattan Labor Day Parade.

MANHATTAN, IL - Members of the Lincoln-Way Marching Band will spend another holiday together as the band has been named the Grand Marshal of the Manhattan Labor Day Parade. The band recently marched in the Mokena 4th of July parade and, of course, will spend New Year's Day together as part of the famed Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.
The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce announced this week that the high school band will be the Grand Marshal of the Monday, Sept. 3 parade that's expected to draw about 35 entries.
"The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce takes great pleasure in selecting the Lincoln-Way Marching Band as the 2018 Manhattan Labor Day Parade Grand Marshals," said Shari Fiocca, president of the chamber. "Their dedication and hard work have earned them the privilege of performing at the 2019 Tournament of Roses Parade. We are proud to honor them and their success in their musical endeavors."
