Man Identified In Manhattan Theft Incident: Cops
Police said the man has been identified and detectives are working the case with the man's cooperation.
MANHATTAN, IL — A man seen in the area near incidents of thefts in Manhattan has contacted the Will County Sheriff's Investigations Division, police said. Police were looking to identify the man who was seen on surveillance video from a Manhattan home where something was reported stolen.
Police said the man has been identified and detectives are working the case with the man's cooperation.
Surveillance video from April 9 showed a man exiting his car and going to the front door of the home. He then returned to his car and drove further onto the property, and a short time later, the car is seen leaving the property. The homeowner told police a 70 amp wheeled battery charger was stolen from his pole barn near where the car was parked.
