Manhattan To Receive Federal Funds For Coronavirus Relief
Millions of federal funds will be distributed to local governments across Will County, including Manhattan.
MANHATTAN, IL — The Will County Ad Hoc CARES Act Funding committee has allocated over $33,000,000 of its overall CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) to government entities within Will County including the Village of Manhattan, according to a recent report.
Manhattan will get over $320,000 that can be used on a reimbursement basis for expenses related to preventing the spread of the coronavirus, which will be allocated by Cities and Villages. The money will be allocated after local governments submit an application, including specific documents that fulfill all CARES Act regulations and guidance.
