Manhattan residents seek help from Ghost Hunters!
Trina and Neil Wagner got fed up with the activity in their home so they reached out to the Paranormal Moms Society for help.
Trina Wagner moved to Manhattan Illinois from Ohio in 2007. She had met Neil through friends and they began a relationship. They moved in together in their home in the older part of Manhattan and as soon as she walked into the house she felt something was off. It was subtle at first. A weird noise here and there. She would hear footsteps in the kitchen when she was at the other end of the house by herself. Mugsy, the Wagner's dog, was always attached at her hip so she knew it wasn't him making the noises. She also right away hated Neil's closet in the bedroom. She couldn't stand for it to be opened as it gave her bad vibes. I asked Trina to give me a run down on her experiences in the home. This is what she said.
"I'd come home from work and the chairs of the dining room table would be pulled out. Mugsy's toys which would be in the the living room when I would leave the house, when I would come home they would be in a straight line back to back. Christmas tree ornaments would be off the tree lined up along the sofa when we got up in the morning. We would hear footsteps and see shadows. Pictures would fly off of the bedroom walls. Televisions would turn on in the middle of the night at full volume. Our crawl space flooded and we had to have it cleaned. I think it stirred up some spirits because after that happened, things got more mean and escalated quickly. I would get punched, slapped, scratched, get my hair pulled, hear voices speaking behind me. Our crawl space door would start banging, jumping up and slamming really loudly. The main "ghost" was a tall, thin man in all black with a wide brimmed hat. He was mean and had a gruff deep voice. I have seen ghosts walk across our yard and our neighbors yards. I have heard voices saying "Woof" and chuckling. The thing that made us call in the Paranormal Mom's Society or the straw that broke the camels back so to speak was when I was sitting on my bed with Mugsy and saw an unseen hand smack him across the head. I heard the impact and Mugsy jumped up and looked at me like what the heck mom. I was livid. I was done with all of this."
So this is where Trina searches the internet for help and finds the Paranormal Moms Society, also known as PMS. Their team consists of Christie Carpenter-Chaidez, Theresa Ban, Liz Mason, Luke Chaidez, Chrissy Filskov, Megan Erl and Jennifer Lichon-Loyo. Their website states the following,

Their website and Facebook page contain testimonials from former clients that dote on how professional and compassionate the group is. It seems they have helped a number of people. Including Trina and Neil who are very happy with their services. Trina called upon them for help and she said that her experience with them was positive from her first phone call with them.

"They interviewed us and then came in and investigated our home. They did get some evidence. One of their team members got knocked out of my husbands chair. They got some hits in the crawl space with foot steps and pacing. They also asked why this man was attacking me and they got him saying that he didn't do anything to me. We also have recordings of a little girl talking. I have seen her many times. She cant be more than 4 or 5 years old. I believe she is looking for her mommy. That one kills me. She still pops in from time to time. I can hear her giggle. My two dogs now hear her too. They brought in a Shaman and a Medium to help me cleanse the house. I have to use sage weekly to keep the peace in this house. Apparently the man hangs out in the crawl space right under Neil's closet. No wonder I hated his closet so much."
Trina feels confident that the mean tall thin man "ghost" has moved on, thanks to the help from the Medium and she said that the little girl ghost is welcome to stay as long as nothing negative is happening around the home. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, Trina, Neil and the PMS group do, and they feel pretty happy with the results that they got from their visit together in the Wagner home.
