Manhattan School District 114 board members will discuss a resolution for the Transition to School Plan for the 2020-2021 school year.
MANHATTAN, IL — The Manhattan School District 114 Board of Education will meet Wednesday to review the district's Fall 2020 Return to School plan. According to the district, board members will discuss a resolution for the Transition to School Plan for the 2020-2021 school year, in addition to the possibility of full-time remote learning for all students due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Earlier this month, the district shared their Return to School Plan 2020-2021 draft, and also shared results of a parent survey, which can be viewed in the draft linked below.
Included in the draft were the following details:
- MSD114 will provide two models for learning: Full Time In-Person & Full Time Remote Learning
- MSD114 will plan and be prepared for change throughout the year as a second wave of infections could result in school closures, in which case all students would transition from in-person to mandated remote learning.
