Manhattan Village Hall Opens As Emergency Warming Center
The community meeting room at Manhattan Village Hall is expected to be open for those who need relief from the cold through Thursday.

MANHATTAN, IL - The village of Manhattan has opened its village hall as an emergency warming center as extremely cold temperatures come into the area. The community meeting room at 260 Market Place in Manhattan was opened as a warming center at 8 a.m. on Tuesday and is expected to remain open until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The village police department shared the information on its Facebook page, where any changes or updates will be posted should they occur.
