Runner From Manhattan Signed Up For 2018 Boston Marathon
Pat Albert will represent Manhattan, Illinois in the 2018 Boston Marathon.

The 122nd running of the Boston Marathon takes place Monday, April 16. In Boston, Patriots Day has grown to take on a larger meaning as one of the great days of sport and human triumph. Runners from across the globe flock to be tested by the 26.2-mile course from the Hopkinton start line to the famous Boylston Street finish line.
Manhattan will be one of the many villages from across the globe that will be represented in the big race. There's one runner from town who is signed up.
Pat Albert, a 52-year-old man, is assigned to Wave 2, Corral 6 of the race. That means he'll start around 9:25 a.m. central time. Albert will wear Bib #13794 in the race if you'd like to follow along.
