Smith Road Will Be Closed Sunday
Smith Road, between Eastern Avenue and Cedar Road in Manhattan, will be closed for much of the day.
MANHATTAN, IL - A significant portion of Smith Road in Manhattan will close Sunday for activities related to Metra Rail Safety Week. The section that will be closed will be between Eastern Avenue and Cedar Road, the village of Manhattan informed residents on its social media channels.
The closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30.
Residents who live along Smith and Eastern will still have full access to their homes.
