When Petitions For April 2021 Election Will Be Available
The Village of Manhattan announced the following details on when to obtain and file petitions for candidacy for the April 2021 Election.

MANHATTAN, IL — Petitions for candidacy in the the April 6, 2021 Consolidated Election will be available Tuesday at Manhattan Village Hall, 260 Market Place, the village announced. According to a news release from the village, petitions for candidacy for mayor, board of trustee (3) and village clerk must be filed with the Village of Manhattan Clerk's Office between Dec. 14 and Dec. 21 during normal business hours — 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
To qualify as a candidate, those applying must be a qualified elector of the village and have resided within the corporate village limits for at least one year before the April 6, 2021 Consolidated Election.
