Winter Parking Reminders For Manhattan Residents, Guests
Police and Village of Manhattan officials share winter parking reminders for residents, including those having guests for the holidays.

MANHATTAN, IL — As winter weather season begins, the Village of Manhattan and the Manhattan Police Department reminds residents that starting Tuesday, parking along curbed streets in the village is prohibited between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. — through March 15. In addition, police said parking is prohibited on any street after 2 inches of snowfall or 1 inch of ice builds up.
According to police, they understand there are circumstances that arise where overnight on street parking is needed, and ask anyone having guests visiting during the holidays (whose vehicles would violate these ordinances) to please contact the Manhattan Police Department by emailing pd@villageofmanhattan.org, or calling 815-418-4122.
