Lincoln-Way Foundation Plans Half-Marathon, 10K

MOKENA, IL — The Lincoln-Way Foundation will host a virtual "Love of Lincoln-Way" half-marathon, 10K and 5K starting Sunday and ending May 2.

According to the district Facebook page, proceeds will fund scholarships, as well as grant requests for educational enhancements for students at Lincoln-Way high schools.

For the virtual race, you can run any time between April 25 and May 2 and choose your own course, or use one of the mapped courses. You can choose to run any of the three races, or choose to do all three.

All participants will receive a race T-shirt and medal, according to the event website.
