Mokena Approves Annexation For Trestle Ridge Estates
The development includes 11 single-family lots, and home values are expected to be in the $800,000 to $1.4 million range.
MOKENA, IL — The Mokena Village Board approved the annexation and rezoning of the future Trestle Ridge Estates subdivision, at its Monday meeting. The board also approved a preliminary plat of subdivision for the development.
Building and Planning Director Matt Ziska said the development is generally located on a 10-acre parcel at 21556 and 21600 Owens Road. PJB Development, LLC, is looking to develop the property.
The board first reviewed the concept of the development in January, and it went to the planning commission in March. According to board documents, the subdivision includes 11 single-family lots, and home values are expected to be in the $800,000 to $1.4 million range.

As part of the annexation agreement with the village, the owner also agreed to establish an HOA for long-term maintenance of common areas, including the detention area and Owens Road landscaping, according to the board presentation.
Ziska said there is also a potential for a 21-lot expansion to the south of the proposed development. However, the developer would have to acquire additional properties to make that expansion possible.
