MOKENA, IL — Two Mokena baseball players and brothers have been chosen to play in the Game Day USA Junior All-American Games. The Sloane brothers, Noah, 12, and Jonah, 9, were both invited and selected to play in the event in Tucson, Arizona, Feb. 14-16.
The boys' mom, Sherie, said the weekend event honors standout baseball players who were handpicked and selected from the All Star Games throughout the United States and Canada.
"We are so proud of both of them since they trained and played hard to make it the roster of selected players, earning their way from becoming an MVP, All-Star and finally, as a Junior All-American," Sherie said.
