Mokena Intermediate School Honors Students

Many students were recognized and celebrated at the Student Recognition Celebration on Friday, May 31 at MIS.

Last Friday, MIS hosted their Student Recognition Celebration! Mr. McAtee recognized students in activities such as Beginning Band, Cadet Band, Chess Club, Fitness Club, Houston's Store, Intramural Basketball, Rocket Runners, Singing Club, Spanish Club, STEM Club, Techsperts, and Young Rembrandts. PBIS Ambassadors, Peer Mediation, and Student Council members were also celebrated. Awards were given out to fitness gram record setters and million word readers, and for physical education sportsmanship, perfect attendance, student growth, citizenship, "A" honor roll, President's Educational Excellence Award, and the Illinois Principal Association Award. Special thanks to the Board of Education, our Administrators, Dr. Rolinitis, Police Commander Stumpf, and Fire Chief Stephens for attending and the many businesses that donated to the end of year raffle!
