Mokena Park District Plans Back To School Bash

MOKENA, IL — Although it may feel like summer just started, back-t0-school time will be here before you know it. To celebrate, the Mokena Community Park District has planned a Back To School Bash on Thursday, Aug. 15.

The free event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Yunker Park, 10824 La Porte Road. The park district said the event is for all ages, and there will be face painting, ice cream, bounce houses, games and a concert featuring Cheryl Rodey.
