NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Chug
Chug was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas, where he was at risk of euthanasia.

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Chug, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
Chug is a 2-year-old male Chocolate Lab mix, who weighs 62 pounds, the society said. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas, where he was at risk of euthanasia.
According to the society, Chug is very sweet, although he can be a little shy at first, he warms up quickly. He would do best in an active household.

The society said Chug loves toys, and loves attention. He will affectionately nudge your hand hoping to encourage some pets.
