Dotticus came to NAWS from a high-kill shelter in Kansas where he was at risk of euthanasia.

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Dotticus, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
Dotticus is a 4-year-old male brown and white tabby. The society said Dotticus came to NAWS from a high-kill shelter in Kansas where he was at risk of euthanasia.
Dotticus is a friendly and social boy who likes to sit in laps. He likes pets and will also give kisses. The society said he is usually pretty calm, but has bursts of energy to play. Dotticus is also FIV-positive.

He likes other cats, but he plays a little rough. The society said it would be best if he was the only cat in a home or lived only with other FIV-positive cats.
