NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Dotticus
Patch previously featured Dotticus, but the feline has to yet to find his forever home.

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Dotticus, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
Patch featured Dotticus back in December, but the feline has not found his forever home yet. Dotticus is FIV-positive, so it is harder for him to find a home, the society said. He has been at NAWS since November.
Dotticus is a 4-year-old male brown and white tabby. The society said Dotticus came to NAWS from a high-kill shelter in Kansas where he was at risk of euthanasia.

Dotticus is a friendly and social boy who likes to sit in laps. He likes pets and will also give kisses. The society said he is usually pretty calm, but has bursts of energy to play.
The society said it would be best if he was the only cat in a home or lived only with other FIV-positive cats. Dotticus loves to play with other cats.
