NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Gray Girl

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Gray Girl, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Gray Girl is a 3 and a half-year-old female gray tabby cat. According to the society, she was adopted from NAWS in 2020, but was recently relinquished back to the rescue through no fault of her own.

She is nervous, and a little reserved in her new surroundings, but if given a moment to adjust, she appreciates the attention, the society said. Gray Girl loves gentle pets and scratches down her back.

She would make a great companion cat, the society said. Gray Girl is not always fond of other cats, and would prefer to be the only one in a home.
