MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Henry, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
Henry is a 4-year-old male terrier mix. He has a large scar down his back, which is cosmetic and doesn't bother him at all. The society said he has been waiting a long time to find his forever home, and they think his appearance may be part of the reason why.
Henry is very friendly, social and outgoing. The society said he knows 'sit' and is working on his leash skills. Henry is also playful and energetic and would love a yard to run in.
