NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Humphrey

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Colton, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Humphrey is a 2-year-old male, domestic short hair, grey and white cat. According to the society, he made the trip to NAWS from a high-kill shelter in Kansas where he was at risk of euthanasia.

Humphrey is shy and reserved, but always gentle and sweet, the society said. If you go slowly, he loves pets and relaxes and enjoys the attention. Humphrey needs a compassionate and patient owner who will help to trust and build his confidence, the society said.
