NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Maleficent

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Maleficent, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Maleficent is a 2-year-old female black and white domestic long hair cat. The society said she is super sweet and eagerly greets those who stop to visit with her.

Maleficent also purrs instantly and rolls on her back for belly rubs. The society said she came from a high kill shelter in southern Illinois, where she was at risk of euthanasia.

Maleficent is a very lovable cat who would be a wonderful companion, the society said.
