NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Remi

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Remi, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Remi is a 4-year-old female calico tabby cat. The society said she came from a high-kill shelter in Texas, where she was at risk of euthanasia.

Remi is outgoing, friendly and interactive with everyone she meets. The society said she is sweet but independent, and likes to be around people but is not overly needy.

Remi was good with dogs in her foster home, the society said.

She will give affectionate head rubs to show her appreciation for attention, and is a sweet and loving girl who will be a great addition to any home, the society said.
