Sicily was found in a sealed box with her kittens, before she was saved and brought to NAWS.
MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Sicily, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
Sicily is a 2-year-old female domestic short hair cat. The society said she was found in a sealed box with her kittens, before she was saved and brought to NAWS.
Sicily is very petite, and can be a little shy initially, but warms up quickly and likes gentle pets. The society said she will also give gentle headbutts showing her appreciation. She is very sweet and gentle.
