MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Sonic, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
Sonic is a 3-year-old male terrier mix, and is 62 pounds. According to the society, he is a gentle, sweet and chill boy, and also walks well on a leash.
Sonic loves to be around people and is good with other dogs. The society said Sonic has heartworms, and is hoping to find a loving adopter who will stick by him as he finishes treatment and becomes healthy again.
