MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pets are Cocoa and Scarlett, who are available for adoption at the humane society.

Cocoa and Scarlett are a bonded pair who must be adopted together, and they are very attached to each other, the society said. Cocoa is a 7-year-old male Boxer mix, and Scarlett is a 9-year-old female Chihuahua mix.

The society said they are very sweet girls, Cocoa is gentle and enjoys attention, and Scarlett is very silly and outgoing. Both love to cuddle together and share a huge bed, the society said.
