New Officer Joins Mokena Police Department: Board Briefs
The village board also welcomed two new businesses and appointed a customer service representative.
MOKENA, IL — At its Feb. 24 meeting, the Mokena village board announced two new businesses in town, appointed a customer service representative and introduced a new patrol officer.
Kelly Huscher, a Mokena resident, was appointed to the position of customer service representative. The village advertised externally for the position and received several resumes, board documents state.
Owen Price also joins the Mokena Police Department as the newest patrol officer. According to board documents, Price was appointed Feb. 3, and will be released for solo patrol in mid-August. Price previously was a police officer in Sheridan.

- Brothership Brewing, 18781 S. 90th Ave., unit E. Craft beer brewery.
- Speech Plus, 19164 S. 88th Ave. Offers speech language therapy.
