Noonan Academy Students Outscore National Average
2021 SAT Test results for Noonan Academy show that their students are academically two years ahead
Unlike many of the local schools, Noonan Elementary Academy officially started its 2020-2021 school year by welcoming students back into their buildings last August. Not only did they adapt to CDC guidelines in addition to ISBE and IDPH mandates this past school year with little disruption, the school as a whole succeeded, as usual, academically as well.
Students in Kindergarten, First, Third, Fifth, and Seventh grades at Noonan took the Stanford Achievement Test at the end of April 2021. On average, as a whole, those grades tested scored approximately two grades higher than their current academic year. Seventh graders achieved post-high school scores in mathematics while scoring at the equivalent of high school juniors in the rest of the subjects tested.
Noonan Elementary Academy is an independent Catholic school in Mokena serving preschool through 8th grade.
