Offenders Flee After Shooting Outside Mokena Restaurant: Police
One person was taken to a local hospital for a non-life threatening "superficial" gunshot wound, police said.
MOKENA, IL — A shooting was reported at the Alley Grill and Taphouse/Thunderbowl on Thursday night, according to a release from the Mokena Police Department. Officers responded to the business, 18700 Old La Grange Road, at 11:15 p.m. Thursdsay after a report of shots fired.
According to police, several people had left the business and went to their vehicle in the parking lot. When they tried to leave the parking lot, several men appeared from the north side of the land and fired several handgun rounds at the vehicle.
The victim vehicle fled, and later dropped one person at a local hospital for a non-life threatening "superficial" gunshot wound, police said.

The offenders entered a different car and fled the area prior to the police arriving. According to police, the car is described as a blue or gray Nissan Murano with plate number "CA91585."
If you see this vehicle, call 911. The occupants are considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Police said that based on preliminary investigation, the incident appears to be a targeted assault. Police continue to investigate several leads to identity the offenders.
