One Charged In Mokena Shooting That Injured Woman: Report

Will County Jail records show the suspect is held on a $750,000 bail amount.

MOKENA, IL — One man is facing three firearm charges following a Saturday shooting that left a woman injured outside the Mokena Thunder Bowl, according to a report from The Herald-News.

According to the report, a fight broke out between a man and his girlfriend around 10:50 p.m. on Saturday.

The publication reported the man had a gun, which went off and broke a car window during the fight. Then, 37-year-old Malcolm Gray took the gun, which went off and struck the aforementioned girlfriend in the arm.

Will County Jail records show Gray is held on a $750,000 bail amount and is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
