Mokena Driver Charged with DUI for Hit-and-Run That Left Man Critically Injured
The accident took place near 193rd Street and Wolf Road in Mokena Friday morning.

MOKENA, IL — The driver of a car that struck a man Friday morning has been charged with DUI, Mokena police said Friday afternoon.
The driver, 21-year-old Cody Fenn of the 11300 block of 193rd Street, fled the scene in the 11200 block of 193rd Street after hitting the other man around 3:30 a.m., said Mokena Police Chief Steve Vaccaro. He is charged with aggravated DUI and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
Fenn was then allegedly involved in another hit-and-run crash on I-80 near Joliet. He was located by Joliet Police and turned over to Mokena authorities.

The victim — a 20-year-old man — was transported by the Mokena Fire Protection District to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox for treatment of severe injuries sustained in the crash. He was transferred to and remains at Loyola Hospital in Maywood for more intensive treatment of his injuries.
Fenn was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility pending a bond hearing on Saturday, Sept. 10.
