MOKENA, IL — After a marathon political campaign, Election Day 2020 is finally here.

This year's election might look a bit different because of the pandemic. Record numbers of people have already voted early and by mail.

But if you're heading out to the polls to vote in person -- or have already voted today -- we want to hear from you.

Voting In Mokena: Everything You Need To Know

In addition to voting on president, some state and local races, voters are being asked to vote on the Graduated Income Tax Amendment.

  • A "yes" vote supports repealing the state's constitutional requirement that the state personal income tax be a flat rate and instead allow the state to enact legislation for a graduated income tax.
  • A "no" vote opposes this constitutional amendment, thus continuing to require that the state personal income tax be a flat rate and prohibit a graduated income tax.

  • Circuit Clerk: Andrea Lynn Chasteen or Anthony Granata
  • Coroner: Laurie Summers or James Piacentini
  • County Auditor: Kevin "Duffy" Blackburn or James Buiter
  • Recorder of Deeds: Karen Stukel or Gretchn Fritz
  • State's Attorney: James Glasgow
  • Will County Board Member District 12 (vote for two): Erin Moncek, Joanne Hamilton-Gunkel, Tom Weigel or Frankie Pretzel
