Property Tax Exemption Information

The Will County Supervisor of Assessments Office announced this month the following: All qualified 2019 exemptions will be renewed and processed for 2020. There will be no 2020 renewal forms mailed. All recipients of Homestead Exemption for Persons with Disabilities, Standard Homestead Exemption for Veterans with Disabilities, and Senior Citizen Assessment Freeze Homestead Exemption will be automatically renewed and processed without re-application for levy year 2020.

The 2020 exemption renewals are for the 2020 levy tax bill, which will be payable in 2021. All exemptions applied for 2019 assessment year are reflected on current 2019 levy tax bill payable in 2020. For additional information or questions please call 815-740-4648.
